AN EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER
Eureka College encourages students to take advantage of our many study abroad opportunities. Studying abroad will expand your knowledge and appreciation of the world and make you a more competitive candidate on the job market.
We provide opportunities to help you study abroad.
We would like at least 10% of our students to have an international academic experience during their years at the school, either through semester or summer study, internships, or short trips led by EC faculty or staff. We offer scholarships to help offset the costs associated with international travel.

Program Options
Study abroad may take many different forms. For example, you may choose to participate in a short program led by Eureka College faculty or staff. Or you could spend a semester at Lingnan University, a partner institution in Hong Kong. Many students also select programs from our third-party organizations such as International Studies Abroad, the American Institute for Foreign Study, Academic Programs International, or Student-Athletes Abroad. Finally, you might consider one of the excellent short-term travel courses offered by the Cooperative Center for Study Abroad, taught by either an EC professor or faculty from our co-affiliates.
In short, there is a wide variety of study abroad opportunities to fit any student’s needs, whatever your budget, major and time frame may be. Please schedule a meeting with our International Studies Coordinator, Dr. Kate Harlin, to start exploring your options!
Applications
Once you have selected a program, please begin the approval and application process using the Travel Eligibility form. The International Studies Coordinator will contact you within one week to let you know whether you are eligible for international travel. At that point, the International Studies Coordinator will help you explore study abroad scholarships and navigate additional application steps.
